I hope this is not too boring and in depth and i hope it helps.
#XPLANE 11 A320 MODS#

TERR ON ND will not Display properly, and you will have TA ONLY during all flight phases. Not only because of the mentioned points but also because the 321 is more fun and more challenging in my eyes.ĮDIT: I almost forgot about that. If i had to choose, i would go with the toliss. Looking at the dev team, I can definetely say that toliss are more open towards the customer and take input serious and implement new stuff very fast.įPS is very good with the toliss, and ok-ish with the FF320. Even an engine failure can not be flown properly since the slip indicator is showing slip to the wrong direction (for years already, and FF does not seem to be interested in fixing this).Īlso almost all faults lead to wrong ecam actions displayed in the FF.

#XPLANE 11 A320 MOD#
There is a V2500 mod for the FF320 but it does not change the ECAM, only the 3d model.īoth aircraft have limitations in regards of fault and failure simulation. Especially taxiing feels better in the toliss since the nosewheel turns at a more realistic rate compared to the FF320.Īlso toliss gives you engine options, with the correct ECAM indications and performance changes depending which option you select. Eventhough Toliss might be a notch better. This kind of makes it a franken-airbus if you consider buying the (Overall very good rendition of the) neo.īoth aircraft are quite close to real in flight performance and handle like an airbus should. Also the hardware of the Toliss A321 is older: It has a very old transponder panel that is not compatible/certified for the A321neo irl.
#XPLANE 11 A320 SOFTWARE#
They are not very informative towards the customers)Ĭomparing the 2 airframes, I can say that the toliss has the older FMGC software and a few functions work different compared to the real bus (saving flight plans for example). FIX INFO page and abeam waypoints for example only work in the Toliss (iirc Flightfactor said they would look into implementing it at some point, but who knows when. The Toliss 321 has more FMGC functions rn. For example the outflow valve is not 3d modeled on the toliss. It also has the better 3d external model. Input lag and small details (like correct light switches for the FCU) make it FEEL more like the real one. The flightfactor feels deeper simulated on first glance. I flew both addons for years, and i am relatively familiar with their pros and cons. This is targeted at re-selling and guerilla marketing.įirst of all, I am a rated airbus A320 family pilot.
